Through June, The Thriving Researcher and Chapelgarth Writing Retreats hosted five collaborative day-long, online, writing retreats.
They were hugely popular, all 125 places booked out within 24 hours of being advertised, and we were joined by academics from around the world for each of the sessions.
This confirmed to me that my own experience – that writing in company was an enormously helpful tool during intensive writing periods – was shared by many others, and that community writing needed to form a central part of hte Thriving Researcher programme.
I wrote a guest post for Chapelgarth’s blog on how retreats and social writing came to form a core part of my own writing practice, and what I get out of them. You can find it here>.
